The most common causes are oversized images, too many plugins or apps, heavy themes, unoptimized CSS and JavaScript, no caching, a bloated database and weak hosting. A speed audit shows which of these affect your site the most.

Does website speed affect Google rankings?

Yes. Page experience, including Core Web Vitals, is one of many factors Google considers. Speed also affects bounce rate and conversions, because visitors leave slow sites, especially on mobile.

Can you guarantee a 90+ PageSpeed score?

I aim for the best results your site allows, and many sites reach 90+ on mobile. A guaranteed score would be dishonest, because results depend on your hosting, theme, third-party scripts and content. I share before and after reports so you can see the real improvement.

Will optimization break my website?

I take a full backup before making any change and test pages, forms and checkout afterwards, so your site keeps working as it should.

Can you speed up a Shopify store?

Yes. On Shopify I optimize images, clean up unused apps and code, and improve the theme. Shopify controls the servers, so the gains come from your theme, apps and content.
